<p>Unfortunately I don't think there is an elegant way to fix this without overwriting existing custom scripts...</p>

<p>I've looked into this further-custom_login_script has a pre-defined redirect for all installations for as long as I can remember. If we force custom login script before dest, they're going to get redirected and dest will never be used, which is problematic because you want users to be redirected to their destination if possible. We can update this, but we need to post stern warning to users that this script is being updated - or how to update manually and what will happen if they don't.</p>
