Description	When you save the log in password on Google Chorme (or other password on the same domain), then on dashboard =&gt; general settings, the api key is automatic changed by the password that was recorded by chrome, because chrome assumes that&#039;s a login form.

it seems to be a long standing issue - if you have credentials saved for your userspice site in chromes native password manager, it autofills it on this page. also because the page is set to save data onchange it seems problamatic.

We have tried so many different solutions that work for short periods of time. Chrome blatantly ignores all the autofill=off type things. It's a constant game of whack a mole to trick Chrome into not being stupid.

I think I came up with a solution. The problem is that despite all the workarounds, the fact that the input type is password, Google just doesn't care. It's going to autofill. So I have a different obfuscation option.
